This award has different category, Adisutjipto Airport was chosen for the category of old terminal full of passengers; Selaparang for the category of old terminals not full of passengers; Terminal III Soekarno–Hatta for the category of new terminal full of passengers and Adi Soemarmo for the category of new terminal not full of passengers.
The Adi Soemarmo Airport was also presented with four other awards for the categories of security, facility, comfort and cleanliness of new airport not full of passengers.
